I’m delighted to be included in this years Cork Printmakers Christmas exhibition along with a host of other talented printmakers. It takes place in the CIT Wandesford Quay Gallery very close to the heart of Cork City, opening this Thursday evening and running until the 23rd of December. Do call in if you are in the area.

I’ve been learning some new skills lately, replacing the leather covering on the gaff saddles for a traditional wooden sailing ketch. The gaff rig can be seen on many traditional Irish sailing boats; the hookers of Galway/ Connemara and Kinsale and on the Manx nobbies that are were very common in West Kerry in the last century amongst them.
