Oíche Chultúir / Culture Night
It’s going to be a busy Culture Night for me this year! First off I will be at the opening of the Kerry Visual Artists Showcase which takes place at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs in Killarney. This is the second of two exhibitions, organised by Kerry County Council Arts Office, that celebrate the work of professional visual arts practitioners working across County Kerry today.
Then I’ll be hitting the road for Cork where Sample Studios will be holding it’s last culture night in its present location on Sullivan’s Quay. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a large number of the city’s top artists in their workplace, take part in activities and watch performances, films and exhibitions all under one roof.
